Brno, Czech Republic:
After the summer break the NGM Forward Racing Team started the second part of the championship in Brno.
The DARK DOG riders had to face a tricky race on the Czech track, a race which did not fulfill the expectations. In fact, Jules Cluzel crashed out in sixth position after a fantastic start, while his teammate, Alex Baldolini, abandoned the race after eleven laps.
Although the race did not turn out as expected, the whole NGM Forward Racing Team and DARK DOG are looking positively into the future aiming to get better results in the upcoming race on 28th of August in Indianapolis, USA.

"I knew that it would be a tricky race, but the beginning was not so bad. I made a good start and after the first lap I already recovered five positions. Unfortunately after a few laps more my sensation with the bike got worse and I didn't feel confident with my front wheel. Therefore I struggled several times, nearly crashing out. Later when I was not able anymore to follow the group in front of me I decided to retire. Of course I am very disappointed because I expected a different race, now I just hope to find some peace of mind to regain the confidence lost in these last races."

"I'm really sorry about this crash, but already this morning during the warmup I had a problem with my steering and I almost crashed out several times. Later in the race I did a good start and I was immediately in sixth position, but already during the opening lap I realized that the situation from this morning had not changed. However I tried to stay with the leading group but in the second lap when I opened the gas at the exit of the first corner I found myself beside the track. I definitely hoped to start this second half of the season in another way but there are still six races to go and I'm sure we are able to demonstrate our potential on track."
